Lately, thanks to changes in the service offerings by software vendors, I’ve been on a kick about finding lower cost versions of things that I use regularly. Things like Photoshop, Word, Illustrator, etc. So this series of posts will show what software I’m using and my impressions of it so far.
The Goliad Project is my ongoing attempt to create a new world for playing the Pathfinder RPG. As an extension/cleanup of Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, the Pathfinder RPG has done a considerable amount of work on the classes, including the addition of several new classes that weren’t present in 3.5, like the Gunslinger, the Witch, and Cavalier. Moreover, they’ve somewhat done away with the concept of Prestige Classes and introduced the Archetype system, which provides a modification of an existing class, rather than creating a whole new one. However, some of these new classes are not well represented in Paizo’s own game world, Golarion, detailed in the Inner Sea World Guide, except in passing.
